Had to drop you a line from a recent foray south of the border. Bojon style partying was in order with the celebration of a lady friend's b-day. Destination was Sayulita, 'bout a 1/2 hour north of Puerto Vallarta. Groovy little fishing town, a great break, surf shops, a few internet cafes and scattered artisan shops. and tequila.
Our setup was a small slice of paradise. Hidden in the jungle outside of Sayulita, you'd never find it if you didn't know it existed…
The proprietor may be one of the most Bojon dudes ever. Diego and his wife & kids run what might be the world's greatest little getaway. Diego has bopped around Berkeley & Paris among other places, but has settled in. Wonderful wife who honed her culinary skills at Cordon Bleu in France. (She runs the restaurant, and it's killer). He presides over this utopian little empire, more mellow than mellow can be.
lots of chill time included riding horses through the breaking waves...
…with a five star touch, of course.
Many thanks to Diego & his wife, who are completely and utterly Bojon...
mmm, tasty!
