must say, norcal has had it goin' on this december. in fact, the past two weeks have served up a plethora of tasty morsels...
sunrises were kickin'
sunsets were rippin'
tahoe was dumping
mavericks was thumping
xmas spirit was high
holiday parties were fly
so go out there and get some, my friends. after all, as our dear sage mr. white oft points out, there's a good chance we only live once...
here's to it
and from it
and to it again
and if you dont do it
when you get to it
may you not live
to do it again
[second verse same as the first, except a little different]
sometimes when it's on
there's no doubt about it
cause it's live
and has it's own soul
and if there's a stage coach
it's got to be sacked
and if there's a rainbow
with a pot of gold
it will be ours, or so i am told...
agent mcbryan sent in this killer shot, succinctly reporting, "It's been a good December so far..."

around the Kingdom of Bojon, these local shindigs are fondly known as Two-Beaners.
one such event that was recently brought to our attention is the East Texas Yamboree. here is the description from the website:
As the county was an agricultural area, the planning committee suggested that the festival focus on this: The East Texas yams had been a good cash crop in the early 1930's; however, a weevil problem had caused a quarantine on shipping. Early in 1935, the quarantine was lifted. The yam growers were back in business!
Thus, the festival planning committee decided to theme the event after the yam, and named it the East Texas Yamboree. The festival was so popular with the locals that the committee decided it should be held on a yearly basis.
The East Texas Yamboree has been held every October since then and offers fun for the entire family.
sounds like a trip to Gilmer, Texas may be in order for next year. listed on the site as highlights of this year's festivities:
oh yeah, a Two-Beaner indeed...
meet the newest member of the Kingdom: James Walker Hendrix...
some friends of Bojon run a company here in san francisco called Leisure Team Productions (LTP). LTP describes itself as a "media production company that promotes leisure in a positive light through a variety of media."
the organization's first major endeavor has just come to fruition in the form of a book entitled: Time Off! The Unemployed Guide to San Francisco. this book champions the concept of working less and playing more, and details how to make the most of your free time here in the city by the bay.
to scope out some excerpts or score of copy of this book, check out the company's website.
in honor of the release of this book, LTP is throwing a party this thursday, december 4th that is open to all. a cadre of the bojon crew will be there, so come on out and grab a brew in support of this worthy cause. here are the details:
THURSDAY DECEMBER 4

of particular note, this heady piece of literature does make mention of the kingdom of Bojon itself. here is the pertinent passage in all its glory:
